Due to rain the horse workouts have been cancelled again for Wednesday, May 27, 2009. We will plan to make this one up on Friday, May 29. The Horse Drill Team will meet from 5:00-6:00 PM and the workout will be from 6:00 PM until dark.
We are looking for volunteers for FOOD on Friday. Something simple that requires no electricity would be super! We will need a food item, drink, cups, plates, napkins. Call Vanette to volunteer. 641-330-5003.
Directions to Grover's (19402 25th Street, Cresco) **Please plan to park at the white house on the south side of the road so there is enough room for all trailers. We will walk horses across the road to the pen.
From Lime Springs and West of Lime Springs: Head east out of Lime Springs on blacktop that goes past the swimming pool (known as 45th Street or A23). Go east four miles to Saint Avenue. Turn left or north and go 2 miles on Saint to 25th Street (gravel). Turn right or east on 25th Street to top of the hill. Our home is on the right (south) side of the road. The round pen is on the north side of road behind cattle.
From Cresco and South of Cresco: Head north out of Cresco on V 58. This blacktop will curve to the west (left) five miles out of town and the street name will change to A 23. Proceed west and the blacktop will curve north (right) and west again (left). Proceed to Timber Avenue. Turn right or north on Timber and go 2 miles to 25th Street. Turn left or west on 25th Street for ¾ of a mile. Our home is on the left (south) side of the road. The round pen is on north side of road behind cattle.
